Give Support

Donate money

Your donations help Palestinian migrants and refugees seek safety in Australia and achieve their full potential, free from the barriers created by conflict and displacement.

Your tax deductible donations contribute to the financial cost of:

  • Flights to Australia
  • Accommodation on arrival in Australia
  • Immediate health and wellbeing care
  • Visa and legal advice where it is not available pro bono
  • Ongoing living costs for newly arrived Palestinian migrants and refugees, including food and essential goods and services

Please consider
funding the admin fee associated with your donation to ensure we can utilise 100% of the funds you donate towards our cause.

Palestine Australia Relief And Action Foundation Ltd (ACN 673466549) is a public company limited by guarantee (ABN 65673466549) and registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. PARA has received DGR (deductible gift recipient) status from the ATO, meaning that any donation over $2 is tax deductible.

Donate goods

We want Palestinian migrants and refugees to live safely and comfortably. In some states and territories we are accepting donations of furniture, food, household essentials and clothing. If you or your business can provide donations in new or very good condition, please contact us.

Professional service providers

We connect newly arrived Palestinian migrants and refugees with the support and services they need. Our care coordinators aim to connect people with services that are:

  • culturally informed and responsive to their unique needs and situation
  • within close proximity to their place of living.

We are looking for the following service providers, in all states and territories, to provide care to newly arrived Palestinian migrants and refugees. This care will be provided free of charge.

  • Housing and accommodation
  • Food and household goods
  • Volunteering and casual employment
  • Mental health and wellbeing

We have a rigorous screening process to ensure service providers are able to provide safe and appropriate care. If you want to become a service provider, complete our referral form here.

Volunteering

Volunteers are central to the work we do at PARA. Our volunteers go through a rigorous screening process and all volunteers are subject to a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.

We are currently recruiting volunteers who:

  • have experience in clinical, mental health, social work or wellbeing case management (all states and territories)
  • have a valid driver’s license and can courier goods (all states and territories).

If you would like to become a volunteer with PARA, please complete an Expression of Interest form. You will be required to provide two references (professional or character).

Community engagement

Can your organisation or community group help with language classes, sporting events, education, arts or cultural experiences?

For many Palestinians right now, it is difficult to engage with things that were previously part of their everyday life. However, as and when the community is ready, we want Palestinians to experience the social and wellbeing opportunities many Australians do each day. If you think your organisation can help, get in touch with us.

Corporate partnerships

Many businesses have been in touch with us to see if they can support. If you think your organisation can help achieve PARA’s mission, please get in touch.
